According to popular psychology, emotional intelligence (often: EQ) can be taught and trained. The current quiz is called the EQ (Empathy Quotient) test, a questionnaire developed by Baron-Cohen et al at Cambridge originally for diagnosing autism. Persometrics does not claim that emotional intelligence exists as a construct, but the scores of thie EQ test are linked to coping abilities and more, which is why it is included in our battery of tests.
