1. Who we are

Hello, we are Persometrics, a Swiss center for stress, burnout and health services, and our address is Avenue Louis-Vulliemin 30, 1005 Lausanne (Switzerland).

2. Definitions

Before continuing, please see these simple definitions of the levels of anonymity of information as used throughout this policy.

  • Personal information

Information that can be used to identify you, such as your name, email address, IP address, home address, or payment details as used during the purchase.

  • Sensitive information

Data from physiological tests (such as hormone or DNA data) or data from questionnaires that may reveal characteristics about your traits or emotional states. This could for instance be the result from a personality questionnaire.

  • Anonymized information

These are data from tests or questionnaires that is no longer associated with your personal information or which have been combined with other data so that it cannot be used to identify you as an individual.

3. Why we collect your data.

There are several reasons to collect data, and we have listed them here.

  • To provide you with a service

    This means we need to collect your data in order to provide you with a report or product of any kind. This requires the collection of sensitive information for generating the report, and personal information for shipping and payment, for instance.
  • To improve your customer experience

    This relates to things such as making sure your account is set in your language of preference, and send you relevant information about our services (if you consent).
  • For research and marketing purposes

    We believe in science and when we can we give back to the scientific community. We also use anonymized data to improve our services.

4. The information we collect

  • Personal information

Personal information is only collected if you voluntarily disclose such data to us for the purpose of making a purchase. It is evident from the respective input form which data are collected. When contacting us (for example via contact form or e-mail) any personal data you transmit to us will be collected. Those data will be stored and processed exclusively for the purpose of responding to your enquiry or of getting in contact with you and for the connected technical administration.

Furthermore, personal data will be collected if you register with our e-mail newsletter. Those data will be used for advertising purposes in the form of an e-mail newsletter, if you agree in this expressly as follows:

You can cancel the newsletter at any time by clicking on the link provided in the newsletter or by a corresponding message addressed to us. After cancelation your e-mail address will be immediately deleted in our newsletter mailing list.

For the purpose of contract fulfillment, personal data collected by us are transferred to the transport company commissioned with the delivery, provided this is required for delivering the goods. For the processing of payments we pass on your payment data to the authorized banking institution.

  • Sensitive information

By agreeing to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, you consent to your sensitive information being collected by Persometrics. The information may be used to provide you with our services; and to improve our existing services. We will not use your sensitive information without your consent, with the exception of anonymized information.

  • Technical information

When you visit our website, usage data such as date and time, what kind of device and software you used, the volume transferred and the name of the accessed page will be stored in server log files. These data cannot be attributed to you as an individual and are only intended to improve our services.

5. How we use your information

We will use your personal information to:

  • Assess and provide the products or services that you have requested
  • Communicate with you
  • Develop new products and services
  • Undertake statistical analysis

We may share data with service providers as necessary to provide their services to us, such as saliva analysis. The service providers act on Persometrics’s behalf. We do not share your personal information unless it is necessary to do so for the service (for instance a shipping company). We will never sell your personal data

6. Your rights

You can at any moment request to see any information we hold on you. You can also request to change it by contacting us. Just send an email to info@persometrics.ch Finally, you can delete your entire account (and thus remove all non-anonymized information we have on you) directly in your account itself. Once you are logged in, click or tap Account Information in the left menu pane; then Delete Your Account. Please note that once your data has been anonymised you cannot delete it because it is impossible to retrieve it.
